Product Overview
openQCM Wi2 is an entry-level Quartz Crystal Microbalance, capable of monitoring frequency variations in real-time. It is a highly sensitive and user-friendly device, suitable for those who want to get started with QCM technology.
openQCM Wi2 is an open hardware device capable of measuring mass variations on the quartz crystal surface at the molecular scale. The device is particularly suited for thickness monitoring and gas sensing, but can also be used in liquid environments.
The electronics interface, based on an oscillator driver, makes frequency monitoring fully automatic, rendering the device highly sensitive and easy to use.
The modular design makes the device flexible. The main body is separate from the sensor module, which features a practical and innovative enclosure system.
openQCM Wi2 is a truly plug-and-play scientific device. Each instrument is assembled and tested to ensure optimal performance.
