openQCM devices (by Novaetech Srl) are always covered by warranty.
What Products are Provided with the Warranty?
openQCM warranty obligations for all Hardware Products sold by Novaetech Srl are limited to the terms set forth below. To be eligible for this Exclusive Limited Warranty the Hardware products must be purchased through openQCM store or Novaetech Srl with a valid Proof of Purchase.The warranty for lack of conformity shall be applicable provided that the product concerned has been used correctly, in accordance with its intended use and in compliance with the contents of the instructions for usage.

Warranty Period
Novaetech Srl warrants Hardware Products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one year from the date of order (“Warranty Period”). Hardware Products include openQCM, openQCM Wi2, openQCM Q-1 and all openQCM electronic devices directly produced by Novaetech Srl and its openQCM Team, and/or any factory reconditioned version of the aforementioned Products. openQCM customers may opt to purchase an Extended Warranty for an additional period of one year (“Extended Warranty Period”) to run consecutively with the initial Warranty Period. This Extended Warranty may only be purchased and applied to a single covered openQCM device and is not applicable to other Hardware Products. -
Warranty usage
If a hardware defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period or the Extended Warranty Period if applicable, at our sole option and to the extent permitted by law, Novaetech Srl will either 1) repair the hardware defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, 2) exchange the Hardware Product with a Hardware Product that is new or reconditioned by Novaetech Srl or that has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original Hardware Product, or 3) refund the purchase price of the Hardware Product. Novaetech Srl may request that you replace defective parts with new or refurbished user-installable parts that Novaetech Srl provides in fulfillment of its warranty obligation. A replacement Hardware Product or part, including a user-installable part that has been installed in accordance with instructions provided by Novaetech Srl, assumes any remaining warranty for the original Hardware Product or ninety (90) days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage for you. When a Hardware Product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes property of Novaetech Srl. Parts provided by Novaetech Srl in fulfillment of its warranty obligation must be used in Hardware Products for which warranty service is claimed. When a refund is given, the Hardware Product for which the refund is provided must be returned to Novaetech Srl unless specified otherwise. -
Exclusions from and Limitation to Warranty
This Limited Warranty applies only to Hardware Products manufactured by or for Novaetech Srl that can be identified by the “openQCM” or "Novaetech Srl" trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-Novaetech Srl Hardware Products or any software, even if packaged or sold with Novaetech Srl Hardware Products. Manufacturers, suppliers, or publishers, other than Novaetech Srl, may provide their own warranties to the end user purchaser, but Novaetech Srl, in so far as permitted by law, provides their Hardware Products “as is”.
Novaetech Srl does not warrant that the operation of the Hardware Product will be uninterrupted or error-free. Novaetech Srl is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the Hardware Product's use.

In What Cases the Warranty is Not Provided?
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE OR COUNTRY TO COUNTRY. RESPONSIBILITY OF NOVAETECH SRL FOR HARDWARE DEFECTS IS LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT SERVICE AS DETERMINED BY NOVAETECH SRL IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION.

To damage caused by use with non-Novaetech Srl products including third-party. -
External Factors
To damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake, or other external causes.

Improper Use
To damage caused by operating the Hardware Product outside the permitted or intended uses described by Novaetech Srl. -
Third-party Services
To damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of Novaetech Srl and its openQCM team.

Product Alteration
To a Hardware Product or part that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written permission of Novaetech Srl. -
Consumables
to consumable parts, unless damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship.

Extetic Damages
To cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents. -
Intraceability
If any openQCM serial number has been removed or defaced.
Change and Return
Where the implementation of the warranty requires the product to be returned, the same must be returned by the Cutomer in its original packaging, complete in all its parts (including packaging and any documentation and accessories).
Final Notes
Except as explicitly provided in these Terms, we do not guarantee, represent or warrant that your use of our service or any Novaetech Srl Hardware Product will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. We do not warrant that the results that may be obtained from the use of the service or the Hardware Product will be accurate or reliable. You agree that from time to time we may remove the service for indefinite periods of time or cancel the service at any time, without notice to you. Novaetech Srl is not a manufacturer of medical devices. Novaetech Srl provides tools and materials that may be used in many applications but makes no claims as to the safety or effectiveness of any specific devices made using Novaetech Srl Hardware Products. You must independently verify the suitability of the material for the application and intended purpose before using it. In no event shall Novaetech Srl be liable for any loss, death, or bodily injury that you suffer, or that you cause to any third party, in connection with your use of Novaetech Srl Hardware Products. To the fullest extent legally permitted Novaetech Srl EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED OR EXPLICIT WARRANTY OF FITNESS for a particular usage, the particular nature and circumstances of said usage being unforeseen and unforeseeable to Novaetech Srl. You expressly agree that your use of, or inability to use, the service is at your sole risk. The service and all Novaetech Srl Products and services delivered to you through the service are (except to the extent otherwise expressly stated by us) provided 'as is' and 'as available' for your use, without any representation, warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including all implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement.
