COMPATIBILITY: openQCM Q-1 and openQCM Wi2
QCM Top flow cover for fluidic applications.
In order to host sensors with different thickness we designed a rotating mechanism that holds, the top flow cover. Thank to this solution, it is possible to obtain a dual function. From one side it is possible to regulate the fluidic cover height respect to the sensor surface. On the other hand, it is possible to fine-tuning the oring pressure above the quartz crystal surface.
The top Flow cover consists of a nylon frame with an integrated Teflon or Plexiglass window. The Teflon window is particularly suitable for use with aggressive substances (e.g.: solvents). It has 2 tubes interfaces in order to use openQCM devices in fluidic applications. The flow cover also mounts all the components needs for sealing the system with the sensor module.
