PTFE open cover for direct access to the sensor (e.g.: pipetting, external environment exposure).
The top cover for pipetting consists of a nylon frame with an integrated open Teflon reservoire. The open cover is designed in order to guarantee the lowest possible sample volume requirement. You can directly pipette a minimal amount of liquid to cover the sensor. This cover is suitable for evaporation studies, external reactions chemical reactions.The Teflon window is particularly suitable for use with aggressive substances (e.g.: solvents).

In order to host sensors with different thickness we designed a rotating mechanism that holds, the top flow cover. Thank to this solution, it is possible to obtain a dual function. From one side it is possible to regulate the fluidic cover height respect to the sensor surface. On the other hand, it is possible to fine-tuning the oring pressure above the quartz crystal surface.
NOTE: The Flow cover is compatible with all openQCM devices that use our sensor module
