The openQCM quartz holder is capable of hosting quartz crystals with a blank diameter of 14 mm with one sided contacting (wrapped electrodes). The quartz signals can be wired via simple cables or using an USB 3.0 male connector, which makes the holder easily compatible with the main electronic of the openQCM devices. Yhe design of the device is extremely compact, so that it can be easily integrated in almost any experimental setup.
The version with integrated electronics includes a Pierce oscillator, which transforms the simple holder into a real QCM system. Simply connect the Pierce Oscillator to the power supply and a TTL signal of the quartz resonance frequency will be readable from your lab equipment.
