Product Overview
openQCM Q-1 is the entry level Quartz Crystal Microbalance with dissipation monitoring, capable of sensing mass variations and viscoelastic properties at molecular scale. A reliable and highly sensitive technology is now available at a very low cost.
openQCM Q-1 is an open hardware device capable of measuring mass variations and viscoelastic properties of sample in contact with quartz crystal sensor. An highly-sensitive surface technology suitable for monitoring phenomena on molecular scale, by studying biological or chemical materials and their interactions and with application in soft matter research.
openQCM Q-1 analyses the resonance curve characteristics using a network analyzer in a wide frequency range, such feature gives the add-on capability of detecting and monitoring overtones.
The modular design gives the device more flexibility. The main electronics is separated from the the sensor module, which is capable of housing a wider range of sensors to meet the needs of users. A new designed QCM with an easy, practical and innovative enclosure system which gurantees the sealing of the sensor module.
openQCM Q-1 is a plug and play ready to use scientific device. Each instrument is mounted and tested in order to guarantee the best performances.
