openQCM Q-1- shield

€449.00

openQCM Q-1 shield is the brand-new and powerful electronic PCB based on network analyzer electronics, designed for more advanced applications using Quartz Crystal Microbalance Technology.

The new openQCM Q-1 electronics is mainly based on a scalar network analyzer, which is able to passively interrogate the device under test in a wide range of frequencies and analyze the transmitted signal in terms of gain and phase.

The shield uses an AD9851 DDS/DAC Synthesizer clocked at 120 MHz, which is able to generate a sine wave signal between DC and 50 MHz. The signal passing through the quartz crystal sensors is analyzed by AD8302 RF/IF Gain and Phase Detector which is able to simultaneously analyze both the gain loss and the phase delay.

NOTE: Sensor proximity electronic included. Teensy 3.6 Board not included

openQCM Q-1 shield based on network analyzer electronics - mounted and tested

The openQCM Q-1 shield is the new PCB electronics for more advanced Quartz Crystal Microbalance applications. The electronic circuit mainly consists of a network analyzer capable of passively interrogate the sensor from DC to 50 MHz and analyses both gain/loss and phase.

The shield is designed for the powerful Teensy 3.6 a 32 bit Arduino compatible development board using a 180 MHz ARM Cortex-M4 processor.

The Shield is shipped with sensor proximity electronic, that includes an extended I2C temperature sensor.
