The new QCM electronics is an high quality Arduino compatible shield for quartz crystal microbalance applications. The new QCM shield is a dual layer PCB characterized by lead-free gold-plated pads. The QCM circuit consists of a quartz crystal oscillator driver, a signal conditioning circuit and a new I2C Temperature sensor, which also improves the signal quality of the crystal oscillator.

The QCM circuit consists of a quartz crystal oscillator driver, signal conditioning circuit and a new I2C temperature sensor with extended T range (-40°C to +125°C),  which improves the signal quality of the crystal oscillator. The electronic circuit is optimized for use in crystal oscillator applications in a wide range of frequencies, tipically from 15 kHz to 28 MHz. It is designed to minimize the electric power consumption.

The QCM electronics is designed as a shield for Arduino Micro microcontroller board.
