The new QCM electronics is  an an high quality Arduino compatible shield for quartz crystal microbalance applications. The new QCM shield is a dual layer PCB characterized by  lead-free gold-plated pads. The QCM circuit consists of a quartz crystal oscillator driver, signal conditioning circuit and a new I2C temperature sensor with extended T range (-40°C to +125°C),  which improves the signal quality of the crystal oscillator. The electronic circuit is optimized for use in crystal oscillator applications in a wide range of frequencies, tipically from 15 kHz to 28 MHz. It is designed to minimize the electric power consumption.

The QCM electronics is designed to fit for Arduino Micro microcontroller board.
